Roadquiz

Terms of use

Roadquiz is a study app for the driving theory exams in Italy and in Sweden, and it is not released in any store yet. You can use its free sample without paying or signing up; everything else is a purchase that will be made through the App Store or Google Play. Roadquiz helps you prepare, but it cannot promise that you will pass: the official exam decides.

What Roadquiz is

Roadquiz is an app that prepares you for the theory exams for a driving licence in Italy and in Sweden. It is not released in any store yet, so there is nothing to download today. It offers practice by chapter, a review schedule, timed mock exams with the exam's own time limit and pass rule, an explanation after each answer, a readiness score and, with a purchase and an account, the Tutor.

Roadquiz is not run by the Italian Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, which holds the Italian exam, or by Trafikverket, the Swedish Transport Administration, which holds the Swedish theory test.

The questions

The Italian questions are the official list published by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, used as published. The questions of the Swedish theory test are secret by law, so Roadquiz writes its own Swedish questions. A language model drafts them from Swedish law and Trafikverket's syllabus areas, and each one is checked against the text of the law before it reaches the app. They are practice questions, not the questions of the test.

Every explanation of an Italian question is written in Italian by a language model. Every explanation of a Swedish question is written in Swedish by a language model. Sweden's questions come in Swedish and English: the English questions and explanations are translated by a language model from the checked Swedish. No reviewer reads the English. If you think a question or an explanation is wrong, report it.

Mock exams and the readiness score

Mock exams have the official number of scored questions, time limit and pass rule of each exam. An Italian mock exam has 30 true or false questions in 20 minutes, with at most 3 errors. Each Italian mock exam draws its 30 questions chapter by chapter, a fixed number from each of the 25 chapters, as the real exam does; for now it takes them from the free sample's questions, with Unlock Italy too, not yet from the full question bank. A Swedish mock exam has 65 multiple choice questions in 50 minutes, and you pass with at least 52 correct. The real Swedish test shows 70 questions, 5 of them unscored trial questions that mock exams leave out. With Unlock Sweden, each Swedish mock exam draws its 65 questions at random from every Swedish question in Roadquiz. The readiness score estimates, from your recent answers and mock exams, your chance of passing today. It never shows more than 99 percent, and it is not a guarantee.

The free sample

For each exam, Italy's and Sweden's, 50 questions and one mock exam are free, with no account. The free sample never expires.

Purchases

  • Unlock Italy is a one-time purchase. It unlocks every question of the Italian exam, for every licence class, permanently.
  • Unlock Sweden is a one-time purchase. It unlocks every Swedish question in Roadquiz, for licence class B, the only licence class Roadquiz covers in Sweden, permanently.
  • Each unlock covers one exam. To prepare for both exams, you buy both unlocks.
  • The price is the one the store shows when you buy. The App Store or Google Play takes the payment under its own terms, and refund requests go to the store you bought from. A refunded purchase no longer unlocks the app.
  • You can restore your purchases in the app, with the same store account or by signing in to your Roadquiz account.

Accounts

You do not need an account to study. If you create one, with Apple, Google or an email code, your purchases belong to it and follow you to your other devices, and your answers and mock exams sync between them. You can delete your account from inside the app at any time; the privacy policy and the support page explain how.

The Tutor

The Tutor answers your questions about a question you have just answered. It needs a purchase, an account and a connection, and there is a daily number of messages. Its replies are written by Claude, a language model made by Anthropic, from the question, its explanation and your answer. A reply can contain mistakes: the explanation and the official rules come first.

Offline use

Everything except the Tutor, signing in, downloading the questions of an exam you buy and purchases works without a connection.
